HI We are not just running a business. We make people’s days. Olive Vine was built on the belief that business should make other life better, and we carry that belief into everything we do.

What’s our purpose at Olive Vine? Moments of Excitement. All made possible by our flavor, innovation and, most importantly, by unlocking potential in our team members.

With more than 50 years of experience under our belts, we understand how to best serve our customers through tried and true service principles. Instead of following trends, we set them. We create the food we’re proud to serve and deliver it fast, with a smile. No matter where you find us, we’re making sure each meal our customers enjoy is delicious and one-of-a-kind.

Judith Halim, born and raised in Medan, Indonesia, came to Singapore at the age of 20 to start a new life with her unborn baby. Abandoned in Singapore by her husband then, with a child born with heart and brain abnormalities, Judith contemplated suicide. Instead, she was saved at a church service.

Her life story of trying to find employment in a foreign land to support her sick child and herself, working her way over the years all the way from the very lowest position, and eventually to top management and then giving it all up when she heard God tell her to start an F&B business without any prior knowledge or experience, is a real journey of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles in life and in business.

Today, she is the co-founder and business owner of Olive Vine Restaurant here in Singapore. Awarded as South East Asia Women of Excellence 2012. She and her current husband have now ordained pastors and actively involved in missions work in several Asian countries, helping to provide education, food and medical aid to hundreds of needy children, many of them orphans, widows as well as many underprivileged families. Jason Ong, co-owner of Olive Vine restaurant together with Judith Halim (wife and business partner), is a missions pastor (ordained by Pastor Chris Hayward, President of CLEANSING STREAM MINISTRIES, USA). Together with Judith, they have been providing humanitarian aid and education to orphans as well as poor and needy families in countries such as China, Pakistan, Myanmar, Philippines, and Indonesia. In order not to raise funds and/or profit from ministry, all feeding and community transformation projects are funded by profits from the restaurant as part of a “tent-making” ministry.

Also a 2-time cancer survivor, he has been fighting a rare form of brain tumor since 2004 (First Surgery was 20 hours, performed by 2 doctors) and later underwent a second surgery in 2013 after cancer relapsed in 2007. On the third day after the surgery, he experienced the divine touch of God; a personal visitation by Jesus. He is currently still actively serving the poor, as well as teaching and preaching (Holiness and Sanctification) to equip the body of Christ in different parts of the world. All glory to Jesus.
